Create and direct a film to shift peoples ideas. The aim is to create an instrument to make people see far and beyond, and hopefully within themselves. The film should inspire people to acknowledge that they are agents of change.

A Bridge to Far and Beyond

2.What will it do?
An independent film.

3.Who/What will it benefit?
It will cover several aspects that are also part of the main values of CALI.
How to go the distance from success to significance, how to understand that is should be part of our nature to understand that we need to make a positive difference in the people surrounding us and the society were in. It will also speak about how all the essential things in life are invisible to the eyes and how our actions need to be guided by ideals and values, and not ambition, fame or success, that will fade away with time.
Hopefully it will benefit the audience becoming a creative instrument to inspire people to reassess their priorities focusing on other people first, and increase the awareness that we are all connected, and everything we do counts and even if it sounds impossible, we can change the world we live in.

4.How will it be implemented?
At this stage I am in the writing phase. The script should be finished by December and in 2009 I’ll be having several meetings with distribution companies and independent producers to find the financing.

5.What is my role?
I’m writing the script and directing the film, as well as eventual co-producer.

6. How will it be measured?
Critics will do one part and the other one corresponds to the audience.
If more people go to see it, there are more chances of a more significant impact. How is its received in film festivals will also be important. And finally if cable companies like HBO buy the television rights it will increase the  potential audience also.

7. Does it meet the criteria for projects laid out in the project descriptor?
I believe a film can also be a very powerful instrument to change the way people perceive certain events or attitudes and hopefully change for good the way they interact with their environment.

8. Why is it worthy of ALI/ILI
They will share the same values using different instruments to modify and improve  attitudes of people in key positions to make a positive difference.
