Gian Marco is President of Grupo CASCO (Central America Safety Company), Central America’s leading distributor of industrial safety, public safety and rescue equipment. He is President of Café Las Flores, Nicaragua’s leading integrated coffee brand from plantation to retail, a Rainforest Alliance Certified product. He leads other companies in the eco-tourism, alternative media, handicraft export, and real estate industries. Gian Marco serves on the board of Almacenadoras Maritimas (ALMAR) a family owned warehousing and handling specialist in bulk cargo and industrial liquids; as well as serving on the board of a major BAC-Credomatic Financial Network holding company. Gian Marco is a founding member of the Young Entrepreneurs Association (AJE), spurring the creation of Nicaragua’s future entrepreneurial generation. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1997, and has since completed multiple INCAE executive programs. He is currently part of Entrepreneur’s Organization’s EO/MIT Entrepreneurial Masters Program Class of 2011. He currently resides in Managua with his wife Marcela and two children.
