Fondo Solidario’s mision is to generate opportunities for the poorest families in El Salvador, through economic and social development programs.
Fondo Solidario is a vehicle to channel resources, skills, and knowledge, in order to implement change and build a good society.
Projects in execution:
- Aid to Hurricane Stan victims
- Building of infrastructure and equipment for vocational workshops located in Potonico and La Herradura.
- Building additional infrastructure and provision of medical equipment in Texacuangos Hospital
- Support to NGO’s efforts in aiding street children and teenagers in risk, in Soyapango and San Salvador.
- Support to poor families through microcredit for housing and productive projects
Key successes:
- Have raised $140,000 in investment funds.
