Alberto Solano, Latin American Programs Director at Global Partnerships; an international NGO that foster micro and small enterprise development through financing and strategic support to more than 30 micro financial institutions in eight countries in the region. He has extensive experience in the microfinance industry and is member of the Board of Directors of Inversiones Agropecuarias S.A. (INVAGRO). Alberto is actively related to social initiatives promoted by catholic groups in Nicaragua. Previously, he developed a wide experience on small enterprise consultancy in the Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Guatemala; he worked in the Sustainable Development Department at the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) in Honduras. He graduated from Zamorano as Agronomist and holds a master degree in Business Administration from INCAE. Alberto is married and has 4 children with his wife Yadira.
