Owner of “Alvarez Law”, Guatemala, Guatemala. Practices law now as a sole practitioner focusing on commercial law, contract law and litigation. Has become a prominent journalist defending and promoting individual freedom and personal responsibility. He is now part of a radio and Internet streamed talk show on the ideas of liberty. Served as Vice-President and President of the “Institute for Justice” in Guatemala and Director of the Guatemalan Chamber of Journalism. Earned his law degree from Universidad Francisco Marroquin, and attained a graduate degree as “Expert in Penal Law” from the University of Salamanca in Spain.
