Journalist with a 20 year experience in economical themes and 11 years conducting a news media project, from an informative and commercial point of view. At present she is the Director of the Costa Rican weekly publication El Financiero, part of Grupo Nación in Costa Rica. She is a university professor in the School of Collective Communication in Universidad de Costa Rica. Also, founder member and treasurer of Press and Expression Liberty Institute (IPLEX) with offices in Costa Rica, and participates in the promotion of synchronized swimming and other aquatic sports. She is a journalist by Universidad de Costa Rica and master in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance, from National University, San Diego, CA, Costa Rica campus. She is the mother of two daughters.
